Gently rolling hills and long connecting trails are characteristic of the network of cross-country trails in Ellmau and the surrounding area.
148 kilometers of groomed trails throughout the SkiWelt / Kitzbühel Alps network will get your pulse racing. The towns of Ellmau, Going, Scheffau and Söll alone offer a combined total of around 45 to 50 kilometers of well-groomed trails.

Almost all of the main trails are double-tracked, creating ideal conditions for classic style or skating. In addition, the network of trails is excellently connected. Those who wish can ski all the way to St. Johann in Tirol or the Kitzbühel Alps.
The Kaiserloipe Ellmau starts right on the doorstep with a 5.5 km loop, suitable for classic and skating styles, ranging from easy to moderately difficult. A cross-country trail par excellence. Competition
The region is home to the famous Koasalauf, one of Austria's largest cross-country skiing races, which underscores the quality of the trails and the tradition of the sport in the area.
