Rübezahl Trail

is Austria's longest carved figure walking trail with 24 larger-than-life figures from the Hartkaiser mountain station to Rübezahlalm.

The trail is approx. 1.5 km long; the walking time is 1 hour, past 24 giant carved figures that make the trail very entertaining for children.

The exceptional carvings were designed by Rübezahl host, Gerhard Salvenmoser with a chainsaw.


Ellmis Zauberwelt (Ellmi's magic world)

Get into the "Zauberexpress [magic express]" and  you will reach Hartkaiser in just 7 minutes, where you will be received by a mystical fantasy world of fairies, goblins and spirits of the forest, and in particular by our magic frog "Ellmi."

Its nature and adventure Park leads you through our colourful fauna and flora! Whether big or small, Ellmi's Zauberwelt [magic world] presents itself as an experience mountain with ever-new surprises in fascinating countryside. Llama Trekking

Llama trekking is one of the absolute family experiences in Ellmau.

The tame animals from the Andes let themselves be led by children: The varied circular walk passes through green meadows, through a coniferous forest - it is even jaw dropping for moved children.
